Bali News: Quarantine in Bali

Sunday, 29 May 2022

Starting on the 14th of October, 2021, Bali’s Ngurah Rai International airport will be operating again for select inbound flights. Travelers headed to Bali from Japan, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Qatar and the UAE will no longer have to fly via Jakarta to do their quarantine, instead are able to fly directly into Bali to quarantine on the holiday island. Thirteen other countries have been nominated to add to this list of approved incoming flights to Bali, however the official statement is yet to be signed.

Further to this, quarantine in Indonesia has been reduced from 8 days to 5 days as of October 13th, 2021 when the SATGAS20.21 was signed. Of the many resorts in Bali, the Griya Santrian and Taksu hotel located in Sanur as well as the Swiss-Belhotel in Tuban have been selected as some of the quarantine hotels for incoming travelers. With spacious rooms, and access to fresh air on their private balconies, these resorts are going to be a top choice for those choosing their quarantine in Bali.

Each room of these 4-star resorts have large ensuites, cable tv, individual air conditioning, access to fresh air and a minibar. Your quarantine package will be inclusive of 3 meals a day, 5 pieces of laundry a day, all necessary PCR tests as well as airport transfers. The hotels have divided their large grounds into quarantine and non-quarantine areas so that should those who have been quarantining wish to continue their stay, they will be able to in a separated part of the resort at standard prices.
